my favourite holiday

My favourite holiday is the Japanes Enperor's birthday because my friends and I have a party the day every year. We call the party 'Tenno-kai'. About 6friends have dinner together, but we don't celebrate the Enperor's birthday. We just want to have fun :)!!!!! We have delicious tea, dessert, maybe this year alcohol, too! And of course there are lots of talking! Of course, this year my friends and I planning to have Tenno-kai on 23th of December. I'm looking for it very much :)!!

school fes holidays

From 31st of October to 3rd of November, kwansei gakuin had had the school festival 2010.　The theme of this school fes was 魅せられて関学. I went to the fes twice during the holiday.
Once I went around with my high school girls. Unfortunately it was raining, but I haven't seen the friends for long time so I enjoyed myself with them very much! The other day, I went to watch Yuna Ito! Also I watched my friend dancing and it was great! She really enjoyed to dance so her dancing made me happy. In addition, I met some friends from my high school they haven't changed a lot. I missed my high school little bit. Yuna Ito's singing was just beautiful!!!
I had a very good holidays!

Crashed Ice

One of the best memories of my high school life is the school festival.
I was a member of school council so I prepared for the festival from May. We organized the stage of ex-Takarazuka performer, choose design of pamphlet and fun, made crashed ice for free, and so on.
I wore Happi and made crashed ice all day long. There were lots of people at the festival, and it was really hot day so many people came to get crashed ice. the school council members worked very hard, so do I. I was so tired that I was little mean to teachers, but one teacher said silly joke to make me laugh. I didn't laugh then, but I felt warm with his kindness.

This is my one of the best memories!

Japanese trend

AKB48 is really hot in Japan now!! AKB48 is a group of teenage stars. Now you can see them everyday on TV or magazine, radio, concert hall. AKB48 was made with a concept that a group teenage stars people can go to see them, so the AKB48 has concerts everyday at AKB hall. They have over 48girls. In addition, what make them so famous is the election of the members of the AKB48. The election attract public attention pretty much! They can dance, sing, act and do blog almost everyday. They are now very famous but they will be more and more popular with their charming character!

How will the world change?

I think lots of things will change!
First, machines and technology will be developed more and more in the next 20years.
And people's life should be changed a lot, too. There will be more lazy people with new technologys and convenience machanics. Possibly some machines will take place of what people do now. For example, cooking or typing, etc.
And everyone will use computers everytime, everywhere, so I think the people will get looks like an alien more.

My best wish for the next 20 years is that more people do action to save the earth.

Globalization for me

Globalizaton mean to me that I can eat various food from all over the world. Noodles, hamburgers, cakes, and more foods which we often eat are imported from another countries. Now we eat a lot of food from foreign countries's culture everyday. Without these foods we can't satisfied with our meal, don't we? For example, it's very common question what they eat for bereakfast. Probably 50years ago, our grandparents won't have any choice, except rice. And, almost of all women love sweet stuff, for example, cakes, chocolate, cream stuff and so on. Also, Japanese mix maccha or something unique Japanese food with Europian food. Like this, with globalization make our life meal more variety and tasty.

summer holidays in Aotearoa

I had been in New Zealand from 3rd to 10th of September.
I met my ex-gardian, host family, my friends again! I was very very happy to see them but in the early bird of 4th, it happend an earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale. It was very scary! My host family and I had no power and water a while. But we enjoyed ourselves in the situation like a camp. And Joseph and Amy, my friends came to my house to see me! That made me soooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!! Even though I had a bad accident, I enjoyed myself in Christchurch very very much!!

My Plans for this Summer Holiday

My first plan in this summer is going back to New Zealnd!! Of course, I'm sooooooooooo excited:)!!!
I'll see my host family, friends, and the school which I used to go.
I hate the such a long flight which takes 11hours, but I am pretty sure that I will have lots of fun!
Fish and chips, hokey pokey, golden kiwis, chocolates and... I want to eat lots of food, too!
I must get fat. haha

What I want to accomplish in the future

My accomplishment is to travel around the world!

In the world, there are 6billions of people.
I want to talk with them as many as I can.
They have different looking, language, culture, thinking, religion, and so on.
I want to know them as deep as I can!
It will give me another light of to see the world and make me excited!
After that, I would like to make something by using the things which they told me, and make people happy.
So, I want to go abroad in this school life!

It would be difficult, but it may not be so hard!
I will do my bestest!!!!!

the New Brighton beach

My favourite place is the New Brighton beach.

It's cold quiet, calm, and beautiful place, also The smell of sea is great, too. There are the pier, library and some shop around the beach. Every Saturday a man drew a picture on the sands. In addition, there are some events are held. For example, a kite-flying contest, a display of fireworks and so on.

This beach is the place that I see the sunrise first time, that's why I like this place so much. It was just beautiful, above explanation!

I hope all of you go to the beach and have fun there!

GOLDEN WEEK

To say frankly, my golden week was great!

On monday I came to school and had 4 classes. after the last class, my friend who belong to BELL PARESE and I chatted at central park. Some of them played soccer. And one was in very bright orange. Then I made some new friends! after that, we went to NISHINOMIYA GARDENS to have dinner. It was great!!

And Monday, Takahiro-kun, Kuttaku, Ma-chan, Chisa-chan, Yuki, Naka-chan and I went to bowling. Just once I did bowling for many years ago, so I was excited! First time bowling was kind of difficult, but it became fun gradually. I want to go out with them again!!

I hope that such a small holiday would come often and my classmates also had a great holiday!

my first impression on kwangaku

It has past 3weeks since I entered kwangaku.

Kwangaku is very far from my house so it makes me so tired to get to school... The first week was sooooooooo hard and long for me!!
But I felt that the second week past very quickly. I had some classes and met lots of people. Students of IS are very bright and friendly. Surprisingly all of my classes were so quiet and students study very hard!! I really need to study hard!!!In addition, the teachers are very kind and friendly.
I am very happy to see them!

I hope that we have a great year in kwangaku!

My name is Mika Sonoda and I am a student of Kwanseigakuin university. my major is internationl studies. It takes about 2hours to get to school from Osaka.
